Promote wound healing naturally

As a therapeutic remedy,  Aloe Vera is one of the few substances known to effectively decrease inflammation and promote wound healing.  It is of therapeutic value in thermal injuries and a variety of soft tissue injuries. Studies have shown it prevents progressive skin damage that usually follows burns, frostbite and electrical injuries. Aloe gel penetrates injured tissue, relieves pain and inflammation and dilates capillaries, increasing blood supply to the injury. It increases both tensile strength at the wound site and healing activity in the space between cells, thus promoting recovery. Its analgesic properties make it an ideal burn remedy.

A unique property of Aloe Vera is its modulation effect:  That is, its glycoproteins serve as inhibiting systems, with an anti-inflammatory effect; its mucopolysaccharides serve as stimulating systems, promoting wound healing.  Most drugs usually provide one or the other effect, not both.
